Commissioning art is a great way to personalize your collection, acquire artworks that complement your living space, and even create family heirlooms! It is a very personal process and in the end you will receive a one-of-a-kind art piece, tailor-made for you.

I offer custom paintings in large sizes (minimum 36" x 48") on ready to hang canvas or un-stretched canvas for art 48" x 60" and over. Un-stretched canvas is a great cost efficient option for shipping extra large pieces.
What's included?
Materials include heavy duty cotton canvas and all painting supplies. If purchasing un-stretched canvas painting, you will be responsible for bringing to your local frame store for stretching and mounting on wooden frame.
What's the cost?
Typically $1.50 to $2/square inch, depending on design and material requirements.
Shipping is additional, if needed, and will discuss any additional handling costs for oversize items.
Is there a minimum?
Yes, $1,800
How does it work?
- You submit an initial Commission Application so we can begin talking.
- After we talk, you receive a summary description and an invoice for 50% of the purchase price.
- If you have chosen a color palette and design from another piece of mine, I go ahead and get started. Otherwise, I will mix up some paints on a sample board and send you a photo for go-ahead approval.
- Approximately 2/3 thru (because it's usually not looking too pretty until then!) I will send you a photo. We can discuss some small adjustments at this time. If there is more than one stage of adjustments, you will be notified of additional costs.
- Upon completion, you will receive a final photo with the invoice for the balance.
- Your artwork SHIPS!
RETURNS/REFUNDS: There are no refunds or returns on custom made art
TIME: 4-8 weeks for completion.
